Growing Pumpkins in South Texas is a challenge. But for this kid, it’s more than just a challenge. It’s a labor of Love.
Justin is our oldest son and from an early age he has always enjoyed planting anything and watching it grow. Over the last few years, he has played a vital role in pumpkin variety selection in our patch. Many of the pumpkin varieties we plant in our patch come from suggestions he has made. He conducts seed trials every year to try and find varieties that will produce well in our area. He always likes to plant specialty varieties every year to see how big of a pumpkin he can produce. He has been harvesting a few of his monsters to enter in the county fair. Wish him Luck!

It’s been a tough year for growing pumpkins, but we did it and we invite you to our patch for some good ole pumpkin picking. We open this weekend!🎃
