A study on the health effects of corn oil was conducted in 1956. Subjects were given 19 teaspoons of corn oil/day, compared to a control group.

The study was supposed to go for three years. The study was stopped after two years because half of the people consuming the corn oil were dead.

You may have heard we are out of much of our chicken.

When the last batch of chickens were still in the brooder one of our livestock guardian dogs broke in and killed between 50 and 60 baby birds. This put us really low on inventory and we have been out of many of our cuts for several weeks.

I will be taking more birds to the processor this next Thursday, so next weekend (10/4/25) we will have all of our chicken cuts again.

We do not use synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides on our farm. We keep our chickens in chicken tractors and meat be them every day so they are getting fresh grass and bugs in their diet. We supplement them with a certified organic feed that is corn-free and soy-free. We take them to a USDA inspected facility for processing.

Our sheep eat grass and other plants that grow in our pasture. They do not get any grains.

For our bread, we buy certified whole wheat berries. We use a stone mill and mill our own flour. We mix the dough using the flour we mill, charcoal filtered water, and pink Himalayan sea salt. We ferment the dough in a refrigerator for up to 48 hours before we bake it.

We are convinced food is medicine and our goal is to help you meet your goals of being more healthy.
