Woosah Branding Co. wasn’t built because we wanted to start another clothing company.
It was built from addiction. Infertility. Mental health struggles. Second chances. An answered prayer named Ruxton. And two people deciding that maybe the hardest parts of our story could help somebody else through theirs.
If you’re new here, this is who we are.
We’re Ethan and Karlie. Husband and wife, best friends, and Mom and Dad to a little boy named Ruxton who means more to us than anything in this world.
I’m an Air Force veteran, and this year I celebrated four years of sobriety.
There was a time when I couldn’t imagine being able to say that.
I know what it’s like to look completely fine on the outside while fighting like hell on the inside. To go to work, come home, be a husband and dad, and have people depending on you while you’re still trying to figure out how to save yourself.
Sobriety didn’t magically make life easy.
But it gave me my life back.
It gave me the chance to become the husband Karlie deserved, the father Ruxton needed, and to be present for a life I could have easily missed.
Karlie fought a completely different battle.
For years, she carried the heartbreak of infertility. The appointments. The questions. The disappointment. Watching other families grow while wondering when, or if, your turn would ever come.
Then came Ruxton.
Our greatest answered prayer.
Because Karlie knows how lonely that road can be, one of her biggest hopes for Woosah Branding Co. has always been reaching other women walking through those same struggles.
Not because she has all the answers.
Sometimes you don’t need someone to fix it. Sometimes you just need somewhere safe to land and someone who understands.
And somewhere along the way, that became the heart of Woosah Branding Co.
A safe place for the man struggling with his mental health but afraid to admit it.
For the veteran trying to figure out where he belongs after the uniform comes off.
For the first responder carrying things home he can’t explain at the dinner table.
For the person quietly fighting for another day of sobriety.
For the woman crying behind closed doors after another negative test.
For the parents trying to hold everything together.
And for anybody who needs to shut the world off for a while, head outside, sit in a blind, cast a line, watch the sun come up, and finally hear themselves think again.
That’s the foundation of Woosah Branding Co.
Owning a small business has taught us something else, too.
We’ve watched competition turn personal and seen people act like somebody else has to lose in order for them to win.
We refuse to build our company that way.
We will always be the nice guys.
If another small business needs a hand, we’ll lend one. If we can make a connection, we will. If we know the answer, we’ll share it. And when another small business is killing it, we’ll clap for them even if they sell something similar to us.
Because another family’s success doesn’t take anything away from ours.
There’s plenty to go around.
We’d rather build a bigger table than spend our lives fighting over who gets a seat.
We both still work full-time jobs. Every dollar we’ve made through Woosah Branding Co. has gone straight back into this company, our community, giveaways, events, programs, and opportunities to give back.
This isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. There are easier ways to make money.
This is something we believe in.
One day, when Ruxton is old enough to understand what Mom and Dad built, we don’t just want him to see a successful company.
We want him to see what we did with it and how we treated people along the way.
We want him to know his parents took addiction, infertility, pain, mistakes, second chances, faith, family, and some of the hardest chapters of their lives and turned them into something that might make somebody else’s hard chapter feel a little less lonely.
That’s success to us.
So when you order from Woosah Branding Co., you’re not an order number.
When you send us a picture, you’re not content.
When you message us about something you’re going through, you’re not bothering us.
You’re a person. And your story matters.
We’re just two regular people with scars, failures, answered prayers, unanswered prayers, and a little boy who reminds us every day why we’re doing this.
If you’ve supported us from day one, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you.
And if you’re brand new here…
Pull up a chair. There’s room for you.
If our story reminds you of somebody who might need to hear it today, share it.
Maybe that’s how they find their safe place to land. ❤️
