Two for sale. This doesn't happen often.

We have two 3-year-old geldings: Joe & Flash. Both halter broke, tie broke, and easy to handle.
Good-minded, the kind you can be around and trust.
We meant to start them ourselves this past year. Life had other plans for our family from fall through spring, and we never got to it. Rather than hold them back, we're putting them up for the right home.

Both are ranch raised in big country, sound and built to last. We rarely sell outside of our annual sale, and almost never 3-year-olds this ready to start. If you've been looking for a solid prospect to bring along your own way, here they are.

Black Pistol. 3 year old. Out of our program.
Here’s what his owner sent us this week:

“Black Pistol is on FIRE already!!! Every show I’ve entered he’s won. I entered him in an in-hand series this winter and he won first all around. I entered him in an AQHA Amateur and AQHA Level 1 show and he won two first place and a third against seasoned show horses as a coming 3 year old. We even competed against a lady that had won the world AQHA show!

I showed him in an English show last weekend and he won the jumping and the rail class. We’re starting our NVRHA circuit this weekend.”

Foaling season is underway at Froelich Legacy Quarter Horses in North Dakota.

We sorted the bred mares off yesterday and they didn’t waste any time… first foal of the year was on the ground the very next morning. A blue roan stud c**t out of SS Blu Salty Suzi, sired by our young quarter horse stallion JCW Rowdy Blue Tank.

48 foals expected on the ground this spring. Every one of them ranch-raised from day one… born in big country, in real conditions, the way we’ve done it since 1948.

That’s what Foundation Before Finish means. It starts here.

Despite all the mud and the challenges that last week’s rain brought, we are grateful, both for the much-needed moisture and for the incredible support of our customers who still joined us on sale day. Whether in person or online, your support means the world to us.

We are truly blessed with an outstanding customer base, and it is an honor to see our foals go into such good hands year after year. This sale was extra special as we sold nine foals internationally, including 2 going to Ecuador for the first time ever. Moments like these remind us how far our program has reached and how much we have to be thankful for.

We’re honored to have celebrated our 55th Annual Production Sale with all of you.
