Western Peanut Growers Association Endorses Tom Sell for TX-19
SEMINOLE, TX. - The Western Peanut Growers Association, Inc. based in Seminole, TX, has announced its strong support and endorsement for Tom Sell to serve the Texas 19th Congressional District as its next Representative.

For more than two decades, WPGA has worked closely with Tom Sell to advance its core mission: enhancing the economic viability of West Texas peanut producers. Throughout that time, Sell has been a consistent and effective advocate for West Texas peanut growers, and for farm and ranch families across the entire region and state.

Sell’s extensive knowledge with the issues facing our industry has made an indelible impact on West Texas peanut growers, and on producers across the entire state of Texas. WPGA is proud to support him in this campaign for Congress.

Happy national ag day from Jackson Farms!

Farming has always been a somewhat thankless job, and with constant threats of adverse weather conditions, it’s never easy. But with rapidly rising input costs and commodity prices that continue to fall below any sustainable level, many farmers aren’t even going to break even this year and certainly won’t be able to plant again next year. This means we will become completely dependent on imports for food, clothing, and many other goods.

The easiest way to thank and support a farmer today is to call your congressman or senator and let them know that you support agriculture production remaining in the United States and that you are in favor of policy that would provide meaningful relief to farmers who are trying to keep their heads above rising tides.

We’ve got a new administration and many new representatives in office this year, so let’s do our part to foster change.
