We’d like to give a special shoutout to three of our incredible team members who have been with us for over 10 years! 🥂

Dave has been a smiling face behind our tasting bar for 10 years, greeting guests and helping them discover their new favorite wines at Montezuma. You can find him behind the bar on Wednesdays & Thursdays, so stop in to say hello!

Zach is a third-generation Martin, joining the family venture and helping behind the scenes. You can find him running the still for our craft spirits, keeping the bottling line running smoothly, or even fixing the printer. He's a man of many trades who has been part of our team for 10 years!

Phil has been our Winemaker here for now 15 years, helping the Martin family produce a variety of innovative and award-winning wines for Montezuma and Idol Ridge. Discover his winemaker series, Voleur at Montezuma and Local Culture at Idol Ridge, where he showcases his unique, creative winemaking style.

We have something so exciting to share! Introducing the newest addition to our distillery lineup: Gin! 🍸

This Gin is extra special for so many reasons. Just like our fan-favorite BEE Vodka, it features honey as a key ingredient, bringing a unique character and flavor to every pour. But even more importantly, this marks a major milestone for our team. It was our Distillery Assistant Sarah’s first spirit that they took the lead on creating!

We’re so proud of Sarah and excited to share the passion and craftsmanship that went into this bottle. We hope you enjoy these products as much as we do!

Our Gin is now pouring at Montezuma Winery Finger Lakes and Montezuma Winery Old Forge. Come raise a glass and give it a try.

Happy Earth Day 🌎💚

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. From using recycled materials in our stelvins, glassware, and most of our labels, to composting all grape pomace during harvest, we’re always working to reduce our impact. Our solar panels have been soaking up the sun since 2016 and helpgenerate 95% of the energy used across our tasting room, cellar, and distillery, while even powering our EV charging stations.

And it doesn’t stop there. Our distillery’s leftover mash goes to a local farmer at the Savannah Pig Rescue to feed some very happy pigs, and helps create a more circular, waste-free process.

Here’s to raising a glass to the planet today and every day 🌱🍷🥃
