Not sure if they were more excited to see me, or their dinner… either way, enjoy the chaos! 😂

Update: Deposit placed

Due to no fault of his own, this little wooly jack BHA Dressed In Chocolate is back up for grabs. Hershey is such a friendly boy & should mature around 30-31” tall. Can leave around Christmas time 🤎

📍Our farm is located in Senecaville Ohio, just minutes from interstate 70 & 77.

We are absolutely heartbroken to hear of the tragic loss of Elsberry Farm’s miniature donkey, HeeHaw, who was dispatched by law enforcement in his own field. 💔

99.9% of the time I stand with law enforcement… and have always had a deep respect for the job they do. But this situation is different. There is not a single justification for shooting a miniature donkey in its own field, especially when those responsible had no permission to be on that property.

Let me be crystal clear: If you come onto my property, day or night, and harm or kill one of my animals because it reacted to your presence, you can expect me to fight like hell for accountability. I don’t care what badge, title, or authority you carry. A badge does not give anyone the right to enter someone’s property and needlessly take the life of an innocent animal.

Respect goes both ways. And so does accountability.

From all of us at BHA, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Our hearts are with the Elsberry Farm family during this incredibly difficult time.

Finally decided on a name for our “Dolly”! 💕🫏

I absolutely LOVED BHA Parton My Bray, and I think it was the suggestion that received the most comments too! Thank you, Ethan, for the perfect name suggestion!!

But I loved Backwoods Barbie so much that I just couldn’t let it go, so that name went to the little jenny foal we had born a few days earlier who was still patiently waiting on a name. 🌸

Thank you to everyone who helped me come up with names and shared your suggestions! I had so much fun reading them all, and I truly appreciated every single one! What a perfect way for our farm to honor the amazing Dolly Parton! 🩷
