Those of you who have been with me awhile, know I NEVER post politics, pov on societal issues etc.

But, I will make my stance on this very clear. As a disciple of Christ, mom, business owner, I will no longer be posting identifiable pictures of anyone under 18, even with permission. I will protect anybody that comes to my home, business and is apart of my life.

This world is evil. Protect and pray over your babies.

This little surprise came with a PERSONALITY. 🐮💨

Baby Cow apparently wakes up every morning and chose violence, speed, and chaos. 😂 One minute she’s standing there looking all sweet and innocent, and the next she’s running amuck through the pasture like she just discovered she has legs and intends to use every single one of them. Not very well I might add!

She’s extra spicy, zooming around, bucking, bouncing, and generally acting like she has absolutely no business being this energetic this early in life. 😂

And Momma Eudy?

She’s standing there like:
“I don’t know her.”
“I didn’t raise her.”
“Please direct all complaints to management.” 😂😂
“I didn’t even know I was pregnant with her!”

Meanwhile, Baby is out here living her absolute BEST life while Eudy watches from a distance with the exhausted look of a mother who has already decided, “She’ll wear herself out eventually.”

So here we are…

Came home from church today thinking we were going to have a nice, peaceful Sunday afternoon…

The farm said, “Absolutely not.” 😂🐄

Went outside to feed the animals and SURPRISE—there’s a BABY COW! 🐮🥹 Apparently Eudy had been keeping a little secret because we had ZERO idea she was pregnant. Nothing like discovering a whole new member of the farm family when you weren’t even expecting one!

Meanwhile, we have another mama who is VERY obviously pregnant and has been keeping us on standby waiting for her to deliver. So naturally, the one we weren’t expecting decided to go first. Because apparently that’s how things work around here. 🤷‍♀️😂

So today’s Sunday lineup:
⛪️ Go to church
🐄 Come home to a surprise calf
🤔 Figure out who Momma is
👀 Check on the animal who is actually supposed to be having a baby
🫠 Embrace the inevitable farm chaos

At this point, I’m convinced the animals have a group chat and we’re the last ones to know what’s going on. 😂

Just another perfectly normal day on the farm! ❤️🐮

Hello everyone!

I hope school is off to a great start!

It’s been a little quiet over here with everything going on! Make sure you read until the end for the surprise 😮

Our special needs kiddo started back at public school, and unfortunately has had an uptick in his seizures. I started homeschooling our 4 other kids, 10th grade, 4th grade, 1st grade, and kindergarten! Art classes, karate classes, etc it’s been busy!

And of course, the back to school germs caught us as well!

In the midst of all of this, I am so grateful for everyone, the animals, and the Lords provision!

Thank you for everyone with your patience with getting cuddle sessions back going. I am working on a calendar and will be posting availability soon!

With that said….here’s the long awaited update about Reba’s baby!

If you guessed girl, you were correct!! We still don’t have a name, we are still deciding if we are going to keep her or not.

But she is incredibly spunky, loads of personality, and is a natural water buffalo at heart, just like her mother 😂 (don’t come for me in my choice of attire, it was a last minute decision to risk the clean pajamas for a kiss 😘)

Can’t wait to have you all out soon! ❤️ and….someone else (unexpectedly) is going to deliver soon 👀

Nothing like casually going to go get groceries after pulling a breach calf … Never a dull day!!

Cow in labor ✅
Delivered ✅
Waiting and watching to make sure Reba and baby are okay…✅

Prayers for this calf! It was born breech and inhaled a lot of amniotic fluid. Had to be pulled and hung to drain the extra fluid!

It’s been a hectic evening. Praying that nothing settles in the lungs and it stays healthy!

Update on the chickens 🐓

Thankfully, the 5 we lost previously is all we have lost. I’m so grateful for Sweetwater Animal Clinic in Palmetto for getting our hens in so quick, and treating them!

We are still on meds, but everyone is starting to pick back up laying, combs are brighter, and happier all around. Thank you Lord for the turn around in your precious animals. 💗🙌🏼

GA Poultry lab is doing testing to see what respiratory infection/disease this is.

Depending on what comes back, we may have to cull the whole flock. Please be in prayer that we will not have to make that decision. Not only will it be difficult financially, but a big hole in our hearts and our ministry of giving eggs. I know the Lord will provide either way. Sparing the heartbreak would be preferred. ❤️
