Since 1913, the Crook family has been proud to feature a variety of foods including the freshest produce and the finest meats. Crook's Marketplace transformed in March 2022 into a full

adult beverage emporium. We are Senoia’s first distilled spirits store and so much more. Crook’s has the largest selection of craft beer in Coweta County. We also have an extensive selection of fine boutique wines and value priced wines found in most supermarkets. Our friendly store staff wants to make sure you have a pleasant shopping experience. There was a time when Main Street in Senoia had a buggy shop, a meat market that cut beef fresh every Friday, and a telephone exchange upstairs where an operator plugged you through by hand. McKnight's store was number 13. The McKnight gin was number 8.

Tonight, SAHS Board Member Greg Crook sits down with Carl McKnight, a member of one of Senoia's founding families, to talk about the town's early days: the country store, the family cotton gin, classes at Brantley Institute, and a downtown that most of us have only seen in photographs.
