Oh who’s this darling girl? This is Be Well KR Sage Bloom

She’s a Kava root daughter

And does not carry any of his awesome personality traits and is a monster 🫠 she bites a lot and is corrected a lot. Totally the I was the first born 2026 kid elite attitude then she went on to earn her restricted champion leg this May as a intermediate kid junior year, I actually can’t remember which class she was in, but she took grand champion either way.

And I swear, if you see the pictures of her from that day, we will see her little smug face, knowing I’m not going anywhere and I can be a complete turd

She and Everest were transitioned into the senior doe pen to acclimate but also to cut her off the baby grain. She’s staying dry which is torturous but I think she has enough potential to stand out at nationals in 2027 as a dry yearling so I’m resisting the urge to breed her 🫠

Gravel and goats don’t mix… ask me how I know and how fast the expensive gravel I put down a few years back disappeared. Hog fuel is the way to go. It is different than bark and doesn’t have soil in it. At 15 a yard you can’t go wrong. Last winter I had a semi dump truck full delivered and what I put along the side of my barn is still there and kept us all dry. This area has shy of a yard spread out.

Fall is in the air and sadly that doesn’t mean the smell of warm baked pies for me… it does involve scrubbing my hands … a lot. Baby Virgie got his first go around let’s be glad I live on a hill lol! He was very confused at first being in this big open space closer to the adult bucks. It took him a few to lock in on Alma’s.

I still need to register Virgie lol but he is a line breeding on our beloved angel buck Hetlandcreek PD Steel Guitar.
Being a steel grandson on the dam side and a steel great grandson on the dam side. Combing some of my favorite genetics. His dam is a first freshener but she is a nice cross and already proven to work with her older full sister easily finishing as a 2nd freshener.

We made it past 45 days and she is still holding. Be Well FRB Rosemary has been successfully bred to Drewem RB He’s The Boss (son of GCH Top Shelf SMR She’s the Best 1*M VEEE90)

Rosemary is the dam to Be Well SG Silver Springs who I know most of you know.

We have a never ending wait list on these silver genetics. I’ve had double digits born here in this coveted color… and to this day I have 3 silvers in my barn. This should show just how serious I’ve been from day one about breeding high quality silvers that show and milk well. I never wanted to breed for the color and make as much as I could off of them. I wanted the color because I enjoyed it when I first saw it and I wanted to breed the best of them, and never factory ship them off to every corner of the world just because I could.

Admittedly I’ll likely retain everything from her. This has been a marathon to get her bred. I’m just so grateful she’s so far holding it and I’ll be grateful for a healthy full pregnancy that ends in healthy kids 🤍

It all started with Be Well FRB Rosemary. She gave birth to Be Well DVE Midnight Margarita who we unfortunately lost to a coyote. Eventually she gave me Be Well SG Silver Springs who then gave me Be Well KG Midnight Margarita (yes I recycled the name) now Midnight Margarita 2.0 is carrying the first 4th generation babies. She is also due super close to her grand dam. Rose who is still holding her pregnancy babies are growing well!
