Hello! 👋🏻 It’s been a couple years since I’ve been active on here since God brought us to The Farm, but we are alive & well, only by His tremendous grace. 🙌🏻🙏🏻✝️ My intention is to share on this account when we have announcements pertaining to our self-serve farm stand & local offerings.
Which brings me to the exciting news that Baker Byrne, my sweet husband & master baker around here, is hosting his first in-person SOURDOUGH CLASS! As we’ve explored all things sourdough for the past decade, a common theme we’ve noticed is jumping right into baking sourdough & not building a foundation learning to work with your sourdough starter. This class will be focused solely on all the best tips & tricks to make your sourdough starter work for you & not the other way around. All skill levels from never touched sourdough to seasoned bakers will learn something in this class!
This is the first of what we hope to be many “Pay If You Can, Pay It Forward” Events. It is our heart cry to teach our community the sustainable skills we have learned as we traversed the last decade’s journey that God has taken us on to bring us here to Sequim. Our classes are priced to compensate for time & supplies, however, if it is not within your budget, we still believe you should be able to learn these skills! Please sign up for the half price or no cost options if your current circumstance does not allow for you to purchase at the current class price. If you are in a financial position to sponsor a neighbor, please consider the Pay it Forward option that pays for your class spot + 1. Class will be held this Saturday, March 23rd from 10:30am-12:30pm at New Life Open Bible Church in Port Angeles. Light {sourdough} snacks will be provided. Reserve your spot on our website!
