The marigolds are looking beautiful in the field! In our experience marigolds aren’t as popular as some other flowers, but we think they are perfect for the Fall! We keep growing them hoping that others will also learn to appreciate how special they are.
We aren’t the only ones who think so… Erin Benzakein - Floret recently wrote an article all about the “Humble Marigold” 🧡
So don’t be surprised if you see more marigolds in the flower offerings at Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market this Saturday! We will also be bringing new fun Autumnal vegetables. See you soon!

We took some time off this week to show Matt’s parents around the Olympic Peninsula! It was lovely to have some time away from the farm. But we’ve come back in time to prep for market. We will be at the Sequim farmers market today- with what may be the last cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and corn. (May have one more week after this, not sure?) Enjoy the end of summer goodies while you can!

A friendly reminder to enjoy local flowers while you still can! Last year our first frost came at the end of September. Years prior it didn’t come until mid to late October. You just don’t know, so take in all the blooms before it’s too late 🌻

This weekend we will be at both the Sequim and Port Angeles Farmers Markets. We will have some fun new things- sweet corn and lisianthus flowers! We have struggled to grow lisianthus for a long time and are excited to have our first harvestable crop to put in bouquets this week! Lots of veg and flowers will be at both Port Angeles Farmers Market and Sequim Farmers & Artisans Market and the Woodcock Farmstand. See you Saturday!

This week we will only be at the Sequim Farmers Market. We will miss everyone at the Port Angeles Market. But truth be told, we are also looking forward to working a market together again. We will have lots of veggies, flowers, flower bar at 11 AM, and maybe a fun surprise depending on how today’s harvest goes!
