We are looking to recruit new horses!
Red Hawk Stables: Guided Horseback Trail Rides, is approaching our 10th year in operation, and some of our horses are nearing retirement. As the season comes to an end, we are beginning our search for new horses to join our summer riding program for the upcoming year(s). Either to lease, purchase, or adopt.
For lease: If you have a horse that needs exercise, but you don't want to part with, we would feed, care for, and maintain their hooves at our expense at our farm during the peak season: from April 1- Sept 30. They would return to you for the off season
For purchase: 15 years old or less. Preferably 14hh+. Not breed specific. Under 2500. No projects. Quirks ok.
For adoption / donation: If you have an unfinished project horse, a horse with behavioral issues, a horse you inherited, or a sound horse you can't ride anymore that you would like to adopt out or donate to a working farm, please keep us in mind. There are very few behavioral issues we haven't been able to fix with lots of time and patience, and we have a very experienced team of horsemen and women who are accustomed to working with green horses or horses that have been sitting a long time.
