Jessie Farms

Family cattle farm that is in the process of updating operations and restoring as much of the original farm as we can.

We are a small beef farm, raising primarily Black Angus cattle. We strive to raise our cattle as natural as we can. Our family has operated this farm for over a century and we were fortunate enough to purchase it and keep it in the family. We are not associated with the rental cabins located across the road from our farm. Please do not message us asking for rental information. Also please do not tag us in your vacation photos. It only leads to confusion for other tourists.

Well it's that time of year to remind folks that we are NOT a strawberry farm, a produce farm, or a farmers market. We can not assist you with these things. I'd suggest using a trusted search engine and reading the actual descriptions of farms that you find. Such as ours. Most will have an accurate description of what they offer and what they do NOT offer.

Well we are up to two bottle calves at the farm. At least it's entertaining around here! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Meet Jake our newest resident. She's a bottle calf that the momma abandoned so now we get to raise her. Calves are the only residents in our calf condo at the farm! We have nothing to do with the cabins across the road, and hope we never do. Unless it's to buy them and return the land to agriculture use. But we don't have that kind of money so wishful thinking. But just so we are clear.... We have NOTHING to do with the cabins across the road or any other tourist related activities.

Just some random photos from around the farm. Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile. But as you can see we've been expanding and have grown to well over 60 head of cattle over the past year.

Been so busy that I forgot to post updates here. There's a lot to update! We have almost half of the new fence done (5437') and all of the fence rows cleared (11,000') and some new calves and some new cows. Oh and the garden is doing good!

Sorry we haven't been making a lot of posts this past year. But a lot of things have been going on and we are looking forward to expanding the farm more this year. So apologies for all of the pictures that are going to be uploaded but there's a lot to update here.
