🐷🏗️ Yesterday was a BIG day—the piggery has ARRIVED! 🎉🐷

It was such an exciting day, but definitely a little nerve-racking too! This building had to be placed perfectly over pillars that Cody and I dug the holes, which Cody and my sister then filled with concrete. Every pillar was measured multiple times and checked with the transit, but even after all that, the nerves were still running because you just want everything to be PERFECT!

Well, for first-timers, I guess we kind of know what we’re doing! 😂 Because the piggery is officially in place and PERFECTLY LEVEL! 🙌🏼

We can’t wait to get the power, water, and internet hooked up so we can give everyone a better look at this exciting project!

We have also officially started on the sow barn, which we decided to build ourselves. There is definitely a lot happening around here, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead! ❤️

And just a friendly reminder—get your orders in if you’re wanting pigs!Once pigs are ready for new homes, I’ll be starting with the folks already on my list. 🐷❤️

Thank you all for continuing to support us and follow along as we grow! We’re excited to bring you along for the journey! 🐷🏡

I apologize this is a sleepy pig post, however, reading it could benefit you in your future pigs purchase!

We have been so grateful this past year to have sent 4 pigs to 2 county fairs in Pennsylvania, and we have had/will have pigs represented at 4 county fairs here in Ohio! 🐷❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us and helped make this past year such a successful one!

Cody and I have been diligently working to grow and improve our pig herd. With that growth, we have officially outgrown our current barn space!

As we recently let the cat out of the bag, Art’s Way is in the process of building our new 8-crate piggery, AND we are working on building a new 40x40 sow barn! 🐷🏠

We are beyond excited for what’s ahead! So excited, in fact, that once everything is completed, we may have an open house so everyone can come check it all out!

If you have purchased pigs from us in the past, things will look a little different this year—of course, in a GOOD way!We will have additional biosecurity measures in place to help protect the health of our growing herd.

Our goal is to eventually have 30 sows/gilts, and we are currently sitting at 18!📈🐷

If you would like to get on our list for future pigs, please PM us with:

• Your name
• Phone number
• How many pigs you are looking for (fair or feeder)
• When you need them born for your fair / which fair you are attending
• When you would potentially like to pick them up

We are so thankful for everyone who has supported our farm and trusted us with your pigs. We can't wait to see where this next chapter takes us! ❤️🐷

Sorry we've been a little quiet lately! Since January 1st, we've sold 67 piglets this year—more than we ever imagined.

We're also excited to have pigs showing at 3 county fairs in Ohio and 2 county fairs in Pennsylvania this year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has purchased piglets from us and supported our program. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

One of our customers recently reached out to share an update on how their pigs are doing, and it's always rewarding to see them thriving. We can't wait to attend the fairs, catch up with everyone, and watch some of these pigs perform in the show ring!
