Seymour: Surprisingly. this photo is as quiet as it looks. I discovered that garden guinea actually has hatched at least a half dozen babies which means we have guineas available! I have at least a half dozen teenage guineas looking for homes so we can make space for Mama and her brood.

The breeding and show birds for 2026 have been selected which means we have lots of LF Buckeye Hens, d'Anvers Blue Quail c**kerel and 2 quail c***s and a hen, Welsummer LF hens, Welsummer bantam pullets, hens, and c**kerels, and Old English c**kerels.

Her camouflage is good, but not perfect. Crossing my fingers that she hatches before predators find her. Meanwhile, no way do I need to wrangle with an angry guinea mom vs pick green beans in that spot.
