Great day for Wandering Fowl at Red Cedar Showdown. This is currently the smallest show in Wisconsin with just over 500 birds between the junior and open shows, but we did have a great day. Weston had champion junior pigeon, champion goose, champion medium duck, champion guinea, and reserve senior showmanship and I had reserve American and Champion AOCCL. Also, for the first time, I wasn't the one coordinating the showmanship, but was the one in the judge's chair.

Our wins today were with our Arabian Trunpeters. Jada bought this bird her senior year of high school and Biff still brings home the hardware. Weston took over the flock and entered in Open. Biff's daughter also took reserve Fancy pigeon. Thanks to Bre Patz for the close up.

Seymour: Surprisingly. this photo is as quiet as it looks. I discovered that garden guinea actually has hatched at least a half dozen babies which means we have guineas available! I have at least a half dozen teenage guineas looking for homes so we can make space for Mama and her brood.
