With all the different food recalls and parasite outbreaks making headlines lately, it’s a good reminder that knowing where your food comes from really does matter!!
Sweet Oak’s eggs do not travel hundreds of miles or sit in a warehouse before making their way to you. They come straight from our flock (800ish feet behind the farm stand), to our farm stand, and then to your kitchen.
Laid daily, inspected thoroughly, stored properly (during the small time the eggs are with us), and most importantly free ranged and well loved chickens!!
We’re proud to be one small part of helping our community know the people behind their food: whether you’re grabbing eggs, bread, produce, or something sweet from the stand.
Know where your food comes from. Shop small. Shop local. We stand by our mission: Providing quality goods & services at affordable prices. Supporting small businesses means supporting your community.
Our fresh eggs are stocked at the farm stand for $5 per dozen every day. They come 2 ways: washed and refrigerated or unwashed and kept at a safe non-refrigerated temperature. An important thing we believe in is cleanliness! Those nasty, poopy, dirty eggs… we believe those MUST be washed before being sold to y’all! But the girls who lay in their laying boxes and have sparkly clean eggs, yea those are the unwashed!
All sales earned from our eggs goes straight back into our chicken feed fund. Thank you for doing your part in the direct health & wellness of our flock!
Any leftover egg cartons laying around can also be donated and recycled at our farm stand 24/7 in our egg carton return bin! Please feel free to stop by anytime!
Thank you for supporting the health & wellness of our flock and our growing homestead!!
