A cowherd designed to serve the commercial cattleman, raised and developed to thrive in fescue country. Our goal at Buck Ridge Cattle Company is to produce high quality Limousin, Lim-Flex, & Angus seedstock to add value to cattle in commercial and registered cow herds. and embryo programs complemented with quality dams cleaned up in the pasture by our A.I. We continually try to improve to make the

next generation of offspring even better. Our current herd size is 275 mature cows that graze our fescue dominant pastures. We strongly believe in good grazing management. Buck Ridge bulls are developed on pasture with supplementation to ensure a healthy and successful transition to our customers' herds.

It is hot, dusty, and dry but we are blessed to care for these cattle. The yearlings are all processed ✅ We collect yearling weights, scrotal circumference, IMF, Ribeye area, and back fat. Collecting phenotypic data is a commitment we have as your seedstock producer.

We love to hear good reports from our customers that are finding value in their BRCC bulls. Jayson Shriver purchased these brutes in our inaugural bull sale back in 2023. At 5 years old, BRCC Jet Pack 1560 and BRCC Monumental 1555 are doing a great job producing calves that come easy and grow good at Shriver Farms! Providing value and getting to work with great people is a blessing. We will offer 70 bulls in our upcoming production sale on 10/26/26. We hope you can make it!

We are thankful to have an abundance of green grass at the beginning of August. BRCC Lady Barbara 2716 is a coming yearling heifer in our replacement pen. She is developing nicely and wanted her picture taken this morning! We managed to wrap up first cutting hay and are eagerly preparing for our fall calving season to start soon. Our Fall Production sale is slated for October 26th.

Hay season 2026 is underway at BRCC. The weather looks dry for a few days so we are getting a start on it. We cut some great looking feed today. Thankful and blessed to have the spring moisture to grow some great grass!

BRCC Symmetry 4727 is ready for spring breeding season! At 20 months, old we are really impressed with his added length of spine and overall stoutness. His maternal foundation is built on the pathfinder donor dam Musgrave Blkcap McHenry 1800 who has done an excellent job of transmitting length and mass to her offspring. He was a feature in our spring 26 production sale where he sold to our great friends and partners at Fangrow Farm. He is a flush mate brother to the top seller, BRCC Headwaters 4735, who is working in the Capitol Angus and Zumbrunnen Angus herds. Another brother, BRCC Symmetry 4719, is working at 2S Angus! These brothers made an impressive flush and we look forward to their progeny!
