Well I did it. I threw it all out!

I’ve been making sourdough and feeding my original starter since February 2026. I’ve had great success with it.

Until now

I guess I let things get to thin. I guess I let things sit on the counter too long. I guess things got hungry.

I guess. I guess. I guess.

So I am starting over tomorrow with a new starter. I’m putting myself on a daily schedule (THAT I WILL STICK TO), and I WILL make this a success again.

✨☕ Owl Oak Farmstead is heading to Stars Hollow! ☕✨

We are so excited to share that Owl Oak Farmstead has been invited to be a vendor at the Stars Hollow event at 434 Coffee on Saturday, October 24th! 🦉🌳

We’ll be set up from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM with fresh Owl Oak Farmstead goodies, and I am equal parts excited and extremely nervous. 😂🍞

I may not have an industrial kitchen or a giant commercial setup, but I do have determination, a whole lot of sourdough starter, and apparently no problem talking myself into ambitious baking projects. 😅

I’m determined to make this event a success for Owl Oak Farmstead, and I would LOVE to see familiar faces there!
