Well, we said farewell to our European ranch hands (Aka free family labor:) looking forward to the next visit.

We had a wonderful time. They were so helpful. Always willing to pitch in through heat, rain, mud and muck! Aufwiedersehen, tchuss!

Its been a minute. Weather, guests, life, ugh. Getting back to basics. Much needed horse 🐎 time for the cowgirl and her equine friends. She's been at it all afternoon. Our boy Nash is up to the plate:)

Off to the Virginia state fair! Good time, great weather.

Took the ranch hands to Mt. Vernon. Long drive, great time, great history! But, you can keep your city traffic. After this trip, it may be a while before we dare the freeway again.

Ranch hands have all the fun. Time at the zoo in Norfolk. A trip across the James to Surrey. And, another morning getting skunked by the blue cats in the Mattaponi!
Enough playing. Now it's time to get the Muck buckets and forks out for the real 😁 fun.
