Some days I (Mary Beth) get on myself for not doing more.

Some days, like today, I look at the clock and see it’s only 9:00am on Saturday and I’ve already given animals their medicine, fed the goats, donkeys, sheep, pigs, chickens, pigeons, quail, dogs, and cats. Then I washed the bedding, cleaned the toilets, and had the wherewithal to take my vitamins. It’s not about self-criticism or pride. It’s about doing what you can when you can and gratefulness for it.

Yeva had her vet appointment today so we dumped her pool. We didn’t want to take her in all wet. Some time after we got home she emphatically told me she wanted to use it.
