At Peter’s Pumpkins & Carmen’s Corn, we’re harvesting these delicious Italian sweet peppers in beautiful red, yellow, and orange!
What do they taste like?
C***o di Toro peppers are sweet, mild, and wonderfully flavorful, with a tender texture and very little heat. As they ripen, they become even sweeter and more delicious.
How can you use them?
Perfect for:
• Grilling or roasting
• Sautéing with onions and garlic
• Stuffing

Yes! The delicious First Kiss apples have started being harvested at Peter’s Pumpkins and Carmen’s Corn!
But what makes these apples so special?
They’re a Minnesota-grown variety developed by the University of Minnesota.
They’re crisp, juicy, and wonderfully sweet-tart.
They have that amazing Honeycrisp-like crunch!
And best of all, they’re one of the first apples of the season, arriving weeks before Honeycrisp.
If you love fresh, crunchy apples, First Kiss is definitely one to try!

C***o di Toro peppers have a mild flavor with almost no heat. As they ripen, their natural sweetness really shines—and roasting them brings out an irresistible smoky, caramelized flavor!

🍉 Watermelon wisdom brings people together!
There are many ways to pick the perfect watermelon—check the field spot, give it a tap, look for a good shape, or simply trust your melon instincts! 😄
Today, our dear friends R.T. Rybak and Megan O'Hara came by to pick out his melons. A friendly customer shared his watermelon-picking method, and RT shared the secret Peter taught him.
Two methods, one mission: find the best melon! 🍉😂
And somehow, a little watermelon wisdom turned into a new friendship. ❤️
Who knew watermelon shopping could bring people together? 😊🍉

🚨 IMPORTANT MELON ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🍉
Our cantaloupes are ready! AND... we have THREE COLORS of watermelon! ❤️💛🧡
So naturally, we have some very serious questions:
❤️ Red: Sweet, juicy, crisp, and classic. The watermelon you grew up loving.
💛 Yellow: Sweet like honey with a slightly tropical flavor. Same watermelon family, totally different personality!
🧡 Orange: Sweet, juicy, and fruity with a mild flavor that’s a fun change from traditional red.
🍈 Cantaloupe: Sweet, fragrant, juicy, and basically summer in a melon.
So which one is the best? 🤔
We could tell you…
