*PIG ORDERS* we would like to apologize for not asking sooner as the time has come quicker then expected for us to get bacon seeds, but if you would like to place an order for pigs please let us know as soon as possible since we will be picking up Saturday. So we’ve been digging for history on our place and found these on vintageariel.com, the photo with the semi trailers by the barn is from 1973 and the one with the nice limestone driveway is from 1984. Why that matters is if you look at the grass around the barn it looks like an overgrown pasture in ‘73, but in 84 it’s clearly all mowed with no fencing. What’s cool about ’73 is that’s the first picture we’ve found with a pasture. But since it’s overgrown it leads us to believe cows were no longer here and the dairy was a thing of the past. However, over 50 years later cows are back in that barn!
