🐛 Found multiple Monarch caterpillars on our milk w**d and even found a chrysalis on our stroller’s wheel that wouldn’t have survived, so we’re taking it inside for a fun science activity with the girls 🦋

(There are multiple food dishes about, but I guess this is the favorite this morning 🤭)

We apologize for the lack of eggs in our stand these last two weeks! These cooler mornings have tricked half our flock into thinking it’s fall and they’re molting early. Chickens and ducks temporarily stop laying while growing new feathers since it uses up so much energy and makes them lethargic. We’ll be opening the stand only on the weekends until we’re back to full egg production.
