Pressure Leaf Filter, which we lovingly referred to as the little DE, enables us to keep making syrup on average about three days longer than those around us by pre-filtering sap prior to it entering the RO system. Will be for sale at end of this season. It’s just a little too small for 27,000 taps. Would be perfect for someone with 20,000 or under. Reach out if interested! It’s a barrel pickup day! Each barrel weighs between 660 to 670 pounds 💪 they are off to Butternut Mountain Farm: The Vermont Maple Sugar Company who will check every barrel for quality, then process and repackage the syrup and ship it around the world.  They’ll return the empty barrels on the next trip to Maverick. 🍁
