Mark your calendar for the annual Justin Morgan Celebration and Trotting Races, happening Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at the corner of Neighbor and 241 Snow Roads in Brookfield, Vermont. Festivities kick off at 11am, with the historic Morgan Horse Trotting Races starting at Noon, right on the same road where the legendary Justin Morgan horse "Figure" once raced over 200 years ago. Come see the Morgan Historical Marker, enjoy food on-site, mingle with re-enactors and cheer on the horses in this beloved celebration of Vermont's equine heritage.

We were visited yesterday by the Peer Teaching And Learning Group. It was a wonderful day with great people interested in the Morgan Horse. They did some hands-on grooming and many of them were interested in the history of the Morgan. We want to thank them for coming and we hope to see them again.
