Happy to announce the winner of our first Sharon Gift Card Giveaway from Strawberry Fest at the Market - sponsored by the Sharon Community Development Corporation. She'll be able to pick from almost 20 Sharon participating businesses! It was her first time at the market - but it won't be the last. In her words: "I like getting anything fresh - like locally grown green beans or peaches - fresh produce of almost any kind. SHARON — The 4th Annual Strawberry Festival at the Market on Saturday brought berries, alpacas, vendors and live music under the pavilion at Quaker Steak & L**e.

WOW!!! 1500 visitors to Strawberry Fest at the Market in downtown Sharon yesterday - we had to refill the strawberries several times to meet demand (thank you Ferris Farm Produce Inc for continuing to run more from the farm & THANK YOU to our customers who were so patient about waiting!!) Our 15+ vendors were close to selling out of everything - we gave out 100+ Farmer Dollars to the kids - who also enjoyed the coloring activity - and signing up for the summer reading program with the Community Library of the Shenango Valley (which was set up with their book cart) and Mercer County Food Bank who gave out SO MANY snow cones to the littles - and shout out to Quaker Steak and L**e who - when we all realized a couple days before how many people might be showing up - set up a grill and sold hot dogs and hamburgers - along with their amazing strawberry lemonades - to give everyone in attendance the opportunity to have a little lunch with their shopping (including the vendors!) - and of course those baby alpacas from Forest Glen Alpacas - and all the strawberry treats from Allie's Sweet Tooth and strawberry-style flower bouquets from Lydalia Gardens and lively music by Uke Kool Lady ... we could go on and on (including HUGE SHOUT OUT to our sponsors!) - but most importantly - THANK YOU to our community that showed up! This market is ALL ABOUT providing a positive space for our community to gather - to get some fresh produce from our local farming community - and support local artisans -connect with each other - and then end up at lunch or other shops in Beautiful Downtown Sharon afterwards. Supporting local - supporting community - supporting each other - that's what it's all about! The 2026 Strawberry Fest is a wrap - but we have plenty more fun planned once the market kicks off in July !! 🍓🍓
