Micro Ideas Doing Macro Things

Brohana Market has been testing and incubating their company in one of LTI’s suites for their indoor microgreen farm since early 2020. Founders Jake and Rob are both trainers for the Shenango Valley FabLab and have been able to utilize the community maker space’s equipment to design and manufacture containers and labels for their product lines. “Having access to the resources at LTI not only allowed us to test and pivot quickly but also gave us the ability to prototype ideas without having to invest into all the equipment ourselves” Jake said.

You can find their microgreens and other products at local restaurants, farmers markets, and retail drop off locations in the Mercer County area. Their goal is to open a 25,000 sq. ft. indoor sustainable agriculture facility by 2023 to educate the regional community on highly nutritious foods and farming systems. Their company is an advocate for a new approach to building the immune system naturally and as Rob said, “microgreens deliver macro results every time.” To learn more, you can visit them at the LTI building.
