Is it spring yet!!! Sunday February 8th
Coldest windchill temps in my entire life!!!
No living beings can withstand these temps for long! Check on your farm animals, pets and remember our wildlife too!

Will be starting our seed sowing educational posts in another few days !
It’s not spring outside yet but the growing season has begun inside! Stay tuned!

Happy New Year from all of us at Dragonfly Farm!
It was an interesting year last year but we look forward to bigger and brighter things on the farm this coming season!

In a few short weeks our greenhouse will be humming with seed starting as 2026 plans set in motion!! We are adding a small orchard and corralling our cane berries that took off and nearly took over!
We have elevated our strawberries to raised beds as we discovered that not only the bunnies but our farm dog love eating the berries! (Healthy for them - bad for profits!)

Our farm is gearing up to be a teaching farm in the 2027 season utilizing a number of different growing techniques including container growing, vertical growing methods along with 4 square, raised bed and of course, in ground farming! So look for coming announcements!

We hope this coming year brings with it a little bit of peaceful calm and prosperity to each of you! And we look forward to seeing you when the snow thaws! Stay safe and happy till then!

Good Morning! Not the greatest of weather day so it off to the greenhouse I go to seed more vegetables and flowers!

If anyone is looking for organic chicken eggs…
My girls are currently taking a winter vacation (😡) so we do not have eggs at this time. But as winter weathers on I’m hoping as it warms we will be selling them again!

As most of us are “hibernating” during this extremely cold stretch, farmers are bringing to life plans for spring!
In a few short weeks our greenhouse will be filled with pots of hope!
