One of the crops we plant every week on the farm is lettuce. Here is a sneak peak of the process.
We start by cropping out the previous crop (radishes in this case).
Then we broad-fork, amend, and cultivate.
We mark the bed with the row marker, dibble, and plant.
We finish by hand watering the transplants, installing steel hoops, and coving with 25g insect netting and 30% shade cloth.
This lettuce will be ready to harvest in 30 days.
Plant, harvest, repeat.
