On today’s edition of Monday Mistakes, I present to you The Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa Catastrophe.

I thought in honor of the amazing Dolly Parton, it’d be fun to make Truvy’s Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa cake (from Steel Magnolias.) I even bought super cute butterfly stickers to put on the boxes. It was gonna be a whole thing.

Until I tasted it. Y’all. This Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa did not cutta cutta cut-it. 😂

Review from best friend: “I mean… it’s not terrible— don’t sell it to people—“

Review from human garbage disposal 3 year old: “BLECH! It’s yucky!”

The verdict: We’re gonna find other ways to honor Dolly and stick to what we know in the kitchen. 😂😅

Dolly was never afraid of failure… and clearly we aren’t either! Stay tuned for food we’re actually good at.
