Eye spy! Can you spot the tomato plants?

Me either hardly 😜

I thought my field peas (that I also grew last year) were bush variety when I put them next to the tomatoes. I thought they could be good neighbors.

But apparently my memory was flawed...peas are winning, tomatoes are not lol.

Just a little reminder that even if you've been gardening a while, things still don't always go according to plan 🤷🏻‍♀️

Fall garden starts are incoming!! 🧡🍁

I hope these new seed starting trays from Bootstrap Farmer are worthy of my excitement!! 🤪🤪 Definitely loving them so far!

📣I've got a new salve! Drawing salve!📣

All-natural ingredients with herbal products that are grown here on the farm. 🌾

Ingredients include: plantain, comfrey, olive oil, castor oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, bentonite clay and activated charcoal.

The second picture shows my daughters bug bite before and after (a few hours) applying the salve. She has very strong reactions to bug bites and you can tell she has a lot of inflammation in the "before" photo but less in the after, with the center starting to come to a "head".

$6/tin. They'll be stocked in the little yellow fridge on the plant stand with my other salves.

Stand update!!

All these late-blooming summer/fall plants are available: 🌻🌼🌺🍁

-Mission Marigold (annual)
-Helenium (perennial native)
-Swamp sunflower (perennial native)
-Vintage Rose dahlia (perennial if you overwinter tubers)
-Pineapple sage (tender perennial)

We also currently have comfrey, valerian, and mullein plants which have been used traditionally in herbal remedies.

And a good supply of my homemade salves.

I don't usually sell produce, but the cucumbers are plentiful and I don't want to pickle any more. 🤣

I've got a beautiful huge cardinal flower available thats about to bloom any day now(3rd picture is what they look like in bloom); still have plenty of helenium in bloom; and I'm stocked up on salves for anyone who wants to stop by this weekend! 💚💚
