When Taylor drops an encore album!!!

If you have found your way to us from our postings about goats that we have to leave us, WELCOME.

Now I have a soapbox to stand on. Do not message me and then tell me (hatefully) "Nevermind" or "are you out of your mind" when I give you a total. If the total is too high a simple "oh out of my budget, thanks" is fine (and for those of you who have done this: Bless you!!!)

My totals are based off age, pedigree, and time we have put in to raising them. We feed round bales and they are about $100 a bale. Plus grain to nursing moms, vaccines, and prevention meds. None of this is cheap.

Also I dont sell and move on. I am around for questions, concerns, updates and I have delivered previously owned goats in the middle of the night in the freezing cold for people who bought from us.

If you are looking for a goat dirt cheap try an auction. We that breed them pour money, time and love into them.

Ok rant over! And to everyone who has supported us over the years: THANK YOU!!!

If you have been following us you know Logan is the one who gets the goats out there and shows them. He helps with everyday care and things around the farm.

I do book keeping, am the midwife, nurse, social media content creator and broker all the deals. I am also "tech support" for all goats sold from here.

But I want to take a minute to shine a light on Guy. He is the one who goes miles and miles to pick up hay, builds fences, sets 1,000 pound round bales and does transport. Yesterday he drove 16 hours round trip and got home at 1am all to pick up the new boys. Guy is the muscle of this establishment and we do appericate him (even though he is quite happy to stay behind the scenes).

And that is a wrap. The girls are home, trucks and trailer are ALMOST unloaded (will finish tomorrow), the humans are winding down. The fair is always an awesome week but we are always glad to be home.

Thanks for the wonderful memories these past 6 years. So glad to be part of the 4H family. Eventhough we won't be back as an exhibitor and family we will be back to see you allπŸ’šπŸ€πŸ

We 1,000% believe in supporting local, small business owners. My parents were one for over 30 years and I know firsthand the struggles.

6 years ago Logan started 4H. Covid cancelled his first show so 2021 started his time in the show ring. Fern was born on the farm (her mom is Palick Farm Willow who was one of OG 2 that started the herd) and was one of the first goats Logan showed. She is Logan's heart goat, only walks for him, and if a goat could smile she does when she sees him.

Today that goat helped Logan end his 4H years with 2 first places, a grand champion in open for a senior doe 5 and over, a reserve champion in 4H for a senior doe age 5 and over, a grand champion all over Nigerian Dwarf doe in open and reserve champion in 4H.

I think it is so fitting that his goat who started his show days helped her boy have an unforgetable "final lap" πŸπŸ’šπŸ€
