Always loved the Ray Wylie Hubbard song “Snake Farm”, but I never figured we’d end up living on one! These pretty little garter snakes have been fairly consistent coffee partners in the rocks around our passion flower bed in the early mornings this beautiful run of weather!

Happy days! Cattle finally got to move up to “the wild side” of the farm today. There are spots up there where it’s tough to see the cattle for the grass! Let’s just say they’ve been very quiet! (Unless you’re close enough to hear the ripping and chewing, at least!)
