Unfortunately we will NOT BE OPEN for blueberries this year. Simply put, there is not enough to pick or be picked.

In surveying the bushes this morning, there are very few berries that are ripening and those that are just turning are being removed by the birds. Even the bird scare machine is not preventing the damage. This is the first time since 1988 we didn’t have blueberries.

Again, Mother Nature has made it clear, she controls the weather.

Looking forward to next years crops and hopefully weather will be better.

🫐 06/25/2026 - Official End of Blueberry Season 🫐

As we officially close out blueberry season, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who visited the farm this summer and share a few honest thoughts.

Simply put, this was not the blueberry season we hoped for.

A late spring frost significantly impacted our crop, reducing yields far beyond what we expected. Despite our best efforts to manage the season and make berries available to as many families as possible, we know some of you arrived excited to pick blueberries only to find that we couldn't meet the demand. For that, we are truly sorry.

We're disappointed too.

Not only did the farm suffer a loss of income from the reduced crop, but more importantly, we never want our customers to leave feeling let down. We work hard to earn your trust, and it matters deeply to us when we can't provide the experience you've come to expect from our farm.

The good news is that there is nothing wrong with our blueberry plants. This year's challenges were the result of a late frost—one of those reminders that Mother Nature still has the final say in farming. While this season was a fluke, we fully expect our blueberry bushes to rebound and thrive again next year.

To those who were able to pick berries this season, thank you.
To those who came out only to find limited availability, thank you for your patience and understanding. Many of you offered words of encouragement and support, and we are incredibly grateful for that kindness.

We've built this farm on honesty, hard work, and relationships with our community. One difficult season won't change that. We appreciate your continued support and hope you'll continue to have faith in us as we look ahead to a better blueberry season in 2027.

Blueberries at my farm will be VERY LIMITED this year. The frosts we had in April and May did extensive damage to the early and mid season varieties, as temperatures of 21F damaged the blossoms. The late varieties are just now starting to ripen.

We will open this coming Monday July 6, 2026 from 9 am to 5 pm or when bushes are picked clean.

The extreme hot weather we are experiencing will not improve conditions either. I am irrigating bushes daily to help keep them alive.

I doubt we will have any blueberries picked for the stand and will be pick your own only. Prices will be $5.00 a pint for pick you own.

Thank you for your patronage over the past years and hopefully better seasons will be in the future.
