The women staff at Dinkey Creek Store & Cafe are attending an event in Clovis Friday & Saturday.
So… the men will be in charge! 🤣
Help us show Jen that the men can handle the Dinkey Creek Store and Cafe for two days!
Come on up and help the guys have the BIGGEST DAY OF THE YEAR! 👍
Note, Jen did create a special limited menu for Friday & Saturday to help the men survive! 🤣

This week’s Store & Cafe hours:
Monday & Tuesday 8am-5pm. (No Café)
Wed-Sun 8am-7pm. Café open 10am-3pm.
Extended Café Munchie Menu hours Wed-Sun 10am-6pm. (Limited items such as Chicken Strips, Fries etc).

All peak Summer availability for our Chalets are FULL. We’ll post any openings on this page, so no need to call.

Summer fun officially begins this weekend!
Fishing is good and CDFW continues to plant.
Come up and enjoy the beautiful weather and grab some awesome grub!
New Store Hours.
Wednesday thru Sunday, 8am-7pm. Grill 10am-3pm with Munchie Menu 10am-6pm.
Open Memorial Day 8am-5pm, Grill 10am-5pm.
After Memorial Day, Monday’s & Tuesdays the Store will be open 8am-5pm and the Grill will be closed Mondays & Tuesdays.
And don't forget, Wishon Village is open up here too!
The road to Courtright is OPEN.

We built new Information Boards at Dinkey Creek to give local information and maps to mountain visitors.
Our Trike Club came up to see us!
Our HOV-Forest Service Event was a success!

Hello everyone.
I want to say a BIG Thank You to the US Forest Service High Sierra Ranger District, the High Sierra OHV division and Forest Supervisor Mr. Gould for allowing us to host the first annual OHV Volunteer recruitment event.
I would personally like to say Thank you to the men and women from several clubs and organizations that showed up today to make this event happen. Also Thank You Randy Deaver and Buddy for coming up and singing some tunes for everyone’s entertainment.
And thanks to EVERYONE who had a hand in helping us pull this off!
But most of all, THANK YOU to the men, women, and families that came by, had lunch and signed up to Volunteer to keep our trails open for the public!
There will be another event next year and from the talks I’ve already had, it will be an amazing day.
Thank you again to everyone. We are truly blessed and truly grateful.

Reminder, Tomorrow/Saturday we're hosting a great HOV Volunteer Roundup Event,10am-3pm. (See attached flyer).
We’re looking for a few good men and women who love our OHV trails.
Come by and meet some of the local 4 Wheel Clubs along with Forest Service personnel and mingle. We will have lunch specials for this event! 🍔
We are looking for individuals who would like to volunteer on a weekend or two to help us on trails. We build bathrooms, remove down tree’s , build water bars etc. If you have ever thought about joining a club, there will be representatives from several valley clubs to talk to along with CORVA and Cal 4 Wheel. If you have a side by side, 4 wheel drive or even just a 2 wheel drive please come by and check out this event and ask questions.
And Randy Deaver will be playing for your entertainment. 🎸

We'll have a special menu for this event 10am-3pm.

Come on by and be part of this effort to keep our trails open! 👍

The McKinley Grove Rd gate is OPEN! 👍
The Dinkey Creek Campground is OPEN! 👍
The weather is AWESOME! So it must be the start of our favorite time of the year! 🏔️
CDFW has been stocking the Creek with some nice Trout and we’re stocked with everything you need including fishing licenses. 🎣

Trout Opener is this Saturday and we're stocked with most everything you need, including lunch! 🍔 The Creek has been stocked with fish multiple times now.
Kids under 16 that bring in their fish will get a FREE Float or Lemonade! 🎣 (One per kid).

And DID YOU KNOW about the 15 minute hike to the 1930's historic Pine Logging Mill? Well, we're posting a video here showing the path and a few of the restored buildings and burn stack!

We're also posting our updated Chalet Rental Calendar. Call 559-841-3435 during normal business hours to rent one.
Store & Grill hours are Thursday thru Sunday 10am-3pm.

We also have new merchandise & souvenirs coming weekly!

Due to weather warnings, we WILL BE CLOSED THIS SATURDAY & SUNDAY. Our Store & Grill will be only be open Thursday & Friday, 10am-3pm this week.
So this week we’ll focus on some of the Dinkey Creek History.
Attached are stories of early Native Americans, Miners, Sheep Herders, Logging and more.
Enjoy this bit of History of the Dinkey Creek Area.
