The Italian queen is out today..She will last 3-5 yrs. Her job is to do nothing, but to lay eggs. The bees surrounding her are attendants. They groom, feed, give her water and keep her warm. Remember to thank a bee keeper. ❤️

Update: We Finally DID find the queen. While scooping up bees. Had to quick get her in there. Beautiful orange queen according to my bee keeper. Soooooo many bees. Will post videos when we get home. Very docìle. I admit. It was a lot of fun assisting my husband with this. Stings and all.
FYI: Today's my birthday. 😁 This was an awesome way to celebrate it! Thankful for the gift of being able to eat some of the honey comb from the honeybees. ❤️
