I know many of my regular customers from Lenexa are missing Sunflower Orchards fruit this year. Sunflower Orchards peaches, blackberries and apples are still available at Overland Park Farmers Market on Saturday. Their booth is in the southeast corner of the Matt Ross Community Center Parking lot. I’ll be there helping on Saturday with flowerers. Stop by to get some delicious fruit and say hello.

The big reveal….. The Bos Hill Blooms traveling vase! Here is how it works. I am gifting these flowers in this beautiful hand turned vase to one special person. That person can enjoy the flowers for the week then you must take the empty vase on a trip out of the area. You will need to find a flower farmer (I will help here if you let me know where you are taking the vase). Once the vase is filled with beautiful locally grown flowers you will need to tag Bos Hill Blooms and the other flower farm then gift that vase to another person to enjoy the flowers, then continue the process. The goal is for this vase to make it completely around the United States and back to my farm in Shawnee, Kansas next summer. So who wants to start the vase? You must be able to pick the vase up on my farm in Shawnee, Kansas sometime in the next week.
