Maple Hill Dairy Farm A small herd of Reg. Jerseys and Guernseys owned by Aimee Moehring. My herd is housed and milked in conjuction with my dad, David Wilterdink.

Maple Hill Dairy Farm is a small herd of Jerseys and Guernseys with a few Holsteins and crosses owned by Aimee Moehring. Between the 2 herds we have about 90cows , about a third of which are mine. Some posts on this page are in reference to our entire herd, some on specific to my herd of colored breeds only. I hope you enjoy reading about our farm and looking at the pictures from around the farm!

All our girls tucked in for the night. Lying on fresh bedding, bellies full, resting comfortably inside the pack barn and out of the elements. Quiet cows are happy cows.

We have herd health about every 3 weeks. We had 2 checks in October, the first time we had 13 of 15 pregnant, and today we had 14 of 18 pregnant. So our grand total for the month is 27! new pregnancies! Next summer is going to be busy!

Another classification highlight. Maple Hill Gldn-I Scout. VG 85. Fresh May 2 with a heifer and due back on April 2, 2018. We lost her dam as a 2yr old, but her granddam is still in the herd, scored EX 90 and due in Oct. Looking forward to the future with this family!

My newest excellent cow-Maple Hill Dmncn Fiddle. (DominicanxJacexMilitia) 4th lactation, fresh in June, projected over 20,000. The 3rd excellent cow I've bred. She has daughters by Nitro and Lemonhead. (Excuse the mud. She's also "excellent" at being a slob)

We have about a 90 cow herd. We've calved in 28 heifers since April 2nd. I was a bit nervous going in, we all know heifers can make extra work and they don't all turn out. I am so happy to say we are milking 27 of the 28 and only have 1 kicker! Yay for something going better than you expected and LOTS of new milk!

Our 3rd set of twins this month! 6 sets in the last 7 months. Too bad only one was a set of heifers!
