Another successful visit with Mac, Mater and Murphy to Camp Sloane!

Just to make you smile!

Mac and Murphy enjoyed their after-dinner salad! A favorite treat!

Mocha was not happy when I took her off the eggs today, and she made sure the whole flock let me know about it! 😂

She’d been broody for a while and needed a little break. Unless someone is looking for chicks, I think we’re officially done hatching for now… because my chicken math is starting to catch up with me! 🐥🐔

*Sound on*. Someone is really excited for dinner!

Watching the chickens play never gets old. 🐔😂

They turn the simplest things into full-blown entertainment every single day.

Yesterday, Mater and Murphy had a great time visiting Camp Sloane YMCA for Carnival Day! They soaked up plenty of snuggles, pets, and attention from all the campers and staff, and they loved every minute of it.

Want to make your next event extra memorable? Mater, Murphy, and Mac are available for birthday parties, community events, schools, daycares, nursing homes, and more.

Thinking about buying a mini cow? Do your homework before sending a deposit.

This is a perfect example of a scam.

🚩 The price is way too low. A true miniature cow (generally 36”–48” at maturity) is not going to sell for $2,000. A true micro mini (under 36”) is even more valuable. As a general rule, a quality 36” mini heifer can easily cost $10,000 or more, depending on genetics, registration, color, and breeding.

Before you buy:

✅ Buy only from reputable breeders with a proven history.
✅ Ask to visit the farm in person, or at the very least schedule a live FaceTime or video call with the animal.
✅ Ask for recent photos and videos—not just polished pictures from a website.
✅ Request registration paperwork, pedigree information, and height measurements if applicable.
✅ Search the breeder’s name on Facebook and in mini cattle groups. Read reviews and ask for references from previous buyers.
✅ Reverse image search photos if something seems off. Scammers often steal pictures from legitimate breeders.
✅ Be cautious if you’re pressured to send payment immediately or if the seller only accepts methods with little or no buyer protection.
✅ If the deal seems too good to be true, it almost always is.

Most reputable breeders understand that buying a mini cow is a significant investment. They’ll gladly answer your questions, introduce you to the animal, and help you feel comfortable before you commit.

Take your time. A little extra research now can save you thousands of dollars—and a lot of heartache—later.
