Meet the new chicks at M&M Farm! 🐣

These babies came from our own chickens and started out under one of our broody Silkies before moving to the incubator to finish hatching.

A mix of Silkies and Silkie/Polish crosses… can’t wait to see what they look like as they grow!

Welcome home Murphy! 🫏❤️

Murphy has officially joined the herd and settled in way faster than we expected. We started by trying to keep him separated from the cows… but Murphy had other plans. He wanted to be with them so badly that he jumped the fence to get back to his new friends.

Safe to say we got the message — the herd is officially together now!

The boys had their first event today! 🤠 They headed to Greenwich for a western-themed party and definitely stole the spotlight. We were so busy enjoying the day that we didn’t take many pictures… but safe to say they were a hit!

🚨 Chicken drama 🚨

The two roosters that have been besties since hatch day are officially having a falling out 😭🐓

Millie (the white one) ended up taking the brunt of it from McNugget (the black one), so tonight Millie has VIP accommodations… aka sleeping in a crate for his own protection.

Good news though… 5 new hens are arriving this week 🤞 Hoping they distract the boys and bring some peace back to the coop because this reality show is getting intense 🍿😂

Long hours, lots of snacks, and an occasional mandatory snuggle session. The boys are making progress one cuddle at a time.

Apparently the barn was overrated today because the boys spent most the day hanging out in the cold rain instead 😂 Even Murphy the donkey spent time outside. Guess rainy days are their thing.
