I love late spring’s cottage garden vibe. Glorious peonies, jewel-like foxglove, wispy larkspur and delphinium spires - are all unpretentious and elegantly charming.

If your weekend plans call for flowers, you can find our market bouquets of these beauties locally at Pine Hill Orchards, McCuskers Market, Greenfields Market, Long River Produce Market and Millstone Market.

Ethel had a spa day. A fresh coif and pedicure will keep her comfortable this summer. Such a good girl, she stood almost perfectly still throughout, just a bit ticklish about have her hind toenails trimmed.

She and Snug, the last remaining ewe from our once very large flock, will be going to a wonderful new home with more llamas and sheep for company. More about that soon!

Cheers to event season! 🥂✨

If you’ve noticed my posts and enewsletters have been on and off lately, it’s because we’ve officially entered the "living on coffee, floral snips, and adrenaline" phase of the year! Weddings and special events have us absolutely flat out for the month of June, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

Because we’re currently knee-deep in buckets of blooms and event prep, our webshop is officially on a short snooze for the remainder of June. We have a few limited items available if you are absolutely in need of blooms (but please, allow 24 hours notice).

Here is the game plan:

- Webshop Orders: Currently limited, but will be back in action on July 1st!

- Event Booking: Our calendar is filling up fast! We have very limited space remaining for August and September events.

- Planning Ahead: We are officially and actively booking for 2027— if you have a date in mind, let’s get it on the books!

- Stay Tuned: We have some exciting July workshops and events in the works that you won't want to miss.

Don't miss out: Want to be the first to know when summer workshops & events drop? Hop over to our website and sign up for our e-newsletter—it’s the best way to stay in the loop!

With a gaggle of Golden Retrievers, our version of “garden maintenance” almost always involves a pool party. It’s not always quiet, and certainly not traditional, but it’s how we start nearly every day.

At the end of a day filled with planting, picking, weeding and watering flowers, my favorite thing to do in the quiet time after dinner is - you guessed it - play with flowers! This arrangement for home is comprised of a few of the casualties from last night’s deluge - and my favorite newly-acquired old vessel.

How do you unwind at the end of the day?

I love the energy that fills the studio when it’s full of people who appreciate the artistry of flowers. Today was all about peonies and soaking in the fleeting beauty of spring. It was a joy to help everyone craft their own centerpieces today—I hope these arrangements (and the inspiration from today) carry that spring magic into your homes all summer long.

Buckets of color coming out of the field and greenhouse. We just delivered some gorgeous bouquets (including fresh cut peonies) to Long River Produce Market in South Deerfield and Millstone Market in Sunderland this morning.

Perennial beds are doing their spring thing! I love the weekly shift of colors and textures.
