Rik Palieri is back for another special afternoon show on Sunday, October 11th from 1-3PM.

He comes from a family of storytellers, musicians and actors with ancestors from Poland, Germany and Italy.

He sings and performs both original and traditional songs on a variety of folk instruments, including the banjo, 6 & 12 string guitars, mouth bow, Native American flute and a collection of rare Polish bagpipes.

He has performed at many world known venues, such as; the Lincoln Center Out of Doors (with The Hudson River Sloop Singers), the Kennedy Center, Nashville’s Country Music Hall Of Fame, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Vancouver Folk Festival, the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Cafe Lena, the Hudson River Revival, the Bitter End, the legendary Blue Bird Café and many more.

He is a world traveler, having appeared at festivals, clubs and radio shows in Australia, Argentina, England, Poland, France, Spain, Germany, Scotland, Israel, Turkey, Mexico, Canada and in every state in the USA.

Decanting some of our Italian w**es today for complimentary sampling~

Sam Coppola, one of our owners, is from Italy and has partnered with the families behind Poggio alla Sala and Gattavecchi, who have cultivated the hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany, for centuries. That legacy has arrived in Vermont through our direct partnership with these historic estates.

We have a few features w**es:

Rosso di Montepulciano - Opens with delicate aromas of wild berries. Full, elegant, and harmonious on the palate, it’s a versatile Tuscan red that can be enjoyed on its own while still having enough character to complement more elaborate dishes. A wonderful introduction to the w**es of Montepulciano.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano ( Featured in this video^^) - A standout of our three Tuscan selections, this received a 91-point rating from W**e Enthusiast. Dry, warm, and robust, it offers an elegant bouquet with notes of ripe plum, while its deep garnet color hints at the richness and structure in the glass. It’s a natural companion for red meats, game, and well-seasoned cheeses. Gattavecchi recommends opening the bottle at least two hours before serving or decanting it to allow the w**e to fully open.

Vernaccia - For something completely different, this w**e takes us to the historic hills of San Gimignano. Aromatic and harmonious, it finishes with the distinctive touch of bitter almond characteristic of the variety, while its straw-yellow color carries subtle hints of gold. Its structure also gives it unusual aging potential for a white w**e. Serve it chilled alongside antipasti, risotto, white meats, or fish.

A new addition to our series includes a teddy bear picnic tea party! 🧸🩷🫖 Bring your favorite stuffy and pull up a seat to a community table for some interactative music funtime!
