🫐 An Important Update About Our Blueberry Season 🫐
We will be ending our season earlier than we expected.
We’ve had a lot of questions about why we’re closing when there are still berries on the bushes. The simple truth is: we only want to offer you the best blueberries possible.
The past couple of years have been tough for us with probably too many things on our plate and the berries paid the price for it.
Bob and I are truly sorry to be closing early. We feel terrible. We have a deep respect for the farmers around us, and this has given us an even greater appreciation for all the work that goes into growing good fruit.
We want to end the season while the berries were still enjoyable and the picking is fun. Most of all, we’re grateful for every single person who came out to support us.
If you’re traveling a long way, please call us—we’d be happy to point you toward other good patches nearby.
Pentwater Patch to the north of us and Palmers to the south of us. (Great people. Great patches.)
If you’d still like to pick here, you’re welcome to do so. The farm will be self-serve for the rest of the summer.
We’ll be spending this time slowing down and enjoying our relaxed time together. We forgot what that was. Family first.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support this season. It means more than we can say.
