Y’all, our schedule changed, and TODAY at 9:30 AM is our LAST ConneXions visit at Turnaround Nutrition for this week🥹❤️

The past few days have been filled with smiles, laughter, new friendships, and some of the BEST hugs a girl could ask for!

These amazing students have brought so much joy into my little shop, and I would LOVE for more of our community to experience what I’ve been so blessed to experience.

So if you’ve got a few minutes this morning, come on by! Grab a shake or tea, say hello, sit a spell, and spend a little time getting to know these wonderful young people.

You don't have to know what to say. You don't need a special reason to come. Just bring your smile and an open heart. ❤️

Let's show these students that they are welcome, valued, and an important part of OUR community.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for someone is simply take the time to get to know them. And I promise you, you might walk out with a bigger smile than the one you walked in with. 🥰

❤️ **HEY, SHELBY! LET’S MAKE OUR COMMUNITY A LITTLE SMALLER AND OUR HEARTS A LITTLE BIGGER!** ❤️

Y’all know I love a good shake, a loaded tea, and a little chit-chat at Turnaround Nutrition. 😉 But this Monday through Wednesday, we have something even MORE special happening!

I’ll be welcoming **SIX classes from our ConneXions group**, with about 10 students in each class, visiting at 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM each day! 🥰

And I want to invite **YOU** to stop by, too!

Come grab your favorite shake or tea, say hello, sit a spell, and spend a little time getting to know these amazing young people. Talk to them. Smile with them. Ask them about their interests. Let them tell you about themselves. You might just make a new friend before you leave! ❤️

Here’s what I hope we can do together: build a community where EVERYONE feels welcome, valued, included, and appreciated.

These students have personalities, talents, dreams, interests, stories, and SO MUCH to offer. They deserve opportunities to get out into the community, meet new people, build connections, and be welcomed just like anybody else.

And the rest of us? We get the privilege of getting to know them beyond a label, beyond an assumption, and beyond what we *think* we know about someone with a disability.

Because the best way to build understanding is to spend time together. ❤️

You don't have to do anything fancy. You don't need the perfect words. Just come with a smile, an open heart, and a willingness to say, **“Hey! I'm glad you're here!”**

The funnel cakes have been eaten, the fair rides have packed up, and we're all trying to remember what our normal routine looks like again. 🤣
