At the heart of the farm stands a 4,500-square-foot, iconic two-story red barn, offering a unique farm-style venue for weddings, special events, and gatherings. The surrounding grounds are an agricultural showcase, featuring a remarkable collection of antique farm equipment, vintage parts, and historic machinery. Adding to the property's character are three beautifully preserved log barns that have been carefully relocated to the farm, creating a setting that celebrates the faith, family, and farming for Nelson and Jamie Dellinger in Cleveland County.

My father, James Petty, at the age of 90 decided to sell off all of his cows. Roughly 160 head over 60 days. They were not great stock but good for beef. The most important part of these cows were the life lessons we received. If you survived without crying 😭through 🐄herding cows and 🚜driving tractors for Dr Petty you can most certainly handle anything.
We were all sad to see them go including daddy now. However these two got left behind surviving the great apocalypse. Daddy found a heifer and bull calf a week later. The black bull calf was just big enough to eat grass and the tan heifer was at least two weeks older. I tried bottle feeding but that was a joke! Luckily we all came out without broken bones.
They had a slow growing start being weaned so early. But by the grace of God 7 months later they happy and kinda healthy.
Time to rebuild the herd🎉

Moving this vintage Fordson Dexta from the James & Wilma Petty farm for “safe storage” to our antique shed.

At 90 yrs young James forgets his daughters want to keep Pawpaw Bishop’s tractor they rode on growing up.

The Dexta is a three-cylinder diesel model manufactured by Ford in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Nelson had to replace a part this weekend. So glad the “weekend employees” aka barn cats were there to help😬
