POSITION FILLED - I want to thank all our applicants for applying . Fortunately our manager Burrhead Jones was available to speak to Jeff who aced the interview process and has become a part of our family here at Pleasant Mart . He is a great American patriot and experienced scissor liff operator. On his first day he knocked three vagrants out of the ceiling who we had been trying to remove for months. I know with Burrs guidance he will soon achieve his paybump from 8$ to $8.50/hr. And they say this job market is tough.., pfft not for those who wanna work hard it aint!

Our big wormerns Jousting event went well with a great turnout. However we are still trying to locate the horse , if you have any information about a loose horse in the Shelby NC area please call the store or stop by the managers office as soon as possible. Also there is a slight chance it could be loose somewhere inside the store since we keep finding half eaten corn cobs in odd places. With that in mind please shop with caution the horse is extremely aggressive

URGENTLY HIRING - A scissor liff operator. Our last one did not last long and was let go due to unapproved lunch breaks . No experience or certifications necessary of course, pay is 8$/hr $8.50 if you can do the job without drinking. Training is provided on your own time. Don't worry it mainly consists of a 7 minute Sunbelt VHS instructional video but it is comprehensive . Work consists of changing lightbulbs and chasing out the homeless that set up camp in the rafters . Inquire in person during normal operation hours

We are proud to announce that goin forward we will be importing all of our meat products from Argentina. This decision was made by yours truly in an effort to keep em beef prices low for hard workin blue collar folks like you and me . We did have a good relationship with local farmers but once I figured out how much we could mark up this meat and keep prices low I couldn't ignore it. I mean just look at the joy on Beths face as she was asking how a family pack a sirloins was only $7.99 !! Come experience the exotic tastes now goin forward!! I should add we do not refund any meat purchases for any reason

It's almost been a full year since Betty passed while attempting a wheelie jump over our exploding ramp in our Big Womerns Motorized Scooter Stunt Extravaganza event.God rest her soul. That being said her families lawsuit against my store is in poor taste and they won't see a single cent out of me . It's not what Betty would have wanted and I won't be held liable that she was drunk on hard liquors when she signed the waiver. The only reason theys suin is because they want to add a hot tub room to their double wide anyways

FIRST OFF, that announcement was supposed to go over the radio!! Its not my fault our new hire is bad with technology and doesn't understand the difference between a radio and the intercom!! I do not appreciate those who have reposted this and mistook care for our employees and customers as some kind of joke!! The new hire has since been let go so this kind of incident will not happen again! As stated above we care deeply about our staff and customers!!
