Knox is a 3-year-old LaMancha buck and, let’s be honest… he’s quite handsome too! 😍

But this guy is more than just a pretty face. Knox brings the structure we love—great feet and legs, plenty of body, and a solid overall build.

We attended the Iowa State Fair this past week/weekend, and I have to say… it was bittersweet.

It’s been almost 20 years since I last exhibited at the Iowa State Fair. Walking back onto those grounds as an exhibitor brought back so many memories, and honestly, it felt good to be “home” again. ❤️

But this time was different.

I wasn’t the one stepping into the show ring… my daughters were. 🥹🐐

Watching them make their own memories, work hard, and experience something that was such a big part of my younger years made this trip even more special.

A full-circle moment I’ll never forget. ❤️

After a lot of thought, we’ve decided not to breed our 5-year-old Alpine doe this year. The last two kidding seasons have been difficult for her, and we feel it’s in her best interest to let her enjoy a more relaxed life.

The only reason we’ve held onto her this long is because she’s been our youngest daughter’s favorite. ❤️ But we’d truly love to find her the perfect forever home where she can be spoiled and loved.

She would make an absolutely wonderful pet! She’s incredibly sweet, gentle, and loves attention. 🥰
