The countdown is officially on! In just 50 days, the Autumn Fiber Festival returns to Mansfield for a weekend filled with fiber, creativity, inspiration, and fun.

Come spend the weekend exploring a wonderful variety of yarn, fiber, handmade goods, tools, supplies, and more from talented fiber artists and vendors. Plus, enjoy fiber arts demonstrations throughout the weekend and see some of these traditional skills in action!

Happy Birthday 🎂 Jono!! He's 6 years old already. He almost didn't make it, but thanks to all of you he was able to have his surgery at 6 months old and made it! Thank you... 😊

Hi all!! We had a wonderful 16th annual family reunion at the farm this weekend. We had about 55 of my Dad's side of the family here for camping, food, swimming, camping and fun. The alpaca parade was a big hit as usual. The rain held off until about 11 pm Saturday night which was a blessing! And, we got a few karaoke 🎤 songs sung. Until next year...

Save the Date! Will will be at Heritage Days in our usual place. Down by the green pond, lower level on September 26 and 27 from 10 to 4. Hope to see you at this annual event. I can't wait to see everyone again this season!

Happy 4th of July everyone!! Try to stay cool. The alpacas usually stay in the barn under the fans on these hot days.

It was an exciting day to have Richland Source come and visit the Fiberarts Guild at Malabar Farm. They did a great job with this article. If anyone would like to come to our monthly meetings in Lexington, just let me know. That way you can find out what we're doing and what we're all about! Our work days, where we knit, crochet, weave, felt, spin and quilt are held down at Malabar Farm State Park in the Berry House!

Members gather to knit, crochet, quilt, spin, weave, sew, felt and rug hook. They share techniques, ideas and encouragement along the way.

Happy Birthday month to my kids who were all born in June! I'm behind in announcing their 🎂 birthdays!! Buckeye is 4 years old this month! Java, who was born on our farm is 8 years old already! I believe White Sox was born in June but am not sure of the date. Princess Diana would've been 7rs old this year. Unfortunately, she passed of a brain tumor this year 😔. We were very upset by this. Made me cry.
May birthdays 🎂 were our newest boy, Little Gray, who turned 3. It's also Jonos birthday, who got a rough start in life and had surgery and was in OSU Vetinary hospital a couple times. Marz turned 16 this year! And, Lucy also turned 16. I'm thankful that Lucy was adopted by friends of mine who had a pasture of girls to hang out with. And, Tommy... He's such a sweet boy. We have all boys here now! They were so intrigued by Dave's mini-Donkey, Peanut that he got a great pic!

Good morning all! We will be at this show Memorial Day weekend. If you haven't come out, it is really neat! There is something for everyone! If you're looking for alpaca fiber, we have it. If you're looking for yarn, we have it. If your looking for alpaca socks and accessories, we have it. We have finished products and diy projects. There are alot of neat vendors with both too. There are also all kinds of demonstrations. Even sheep herding! Please stop by and say Hi! We will be in the 4H barn with Kay Jenney/Winsome Alpacas. I thank her and Roger for letting me be apart for the last 15 years!

It's not too late to sign up for one of our workshops. These will be taking place Saturday and Sunday May 23-24, 2026 at Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, OH. Sign up available on our website. Final day for online sign ups will be Sunday, May 17th.

If a class has available openings, we allow walk-in registrations the day of the event for an additional $5 per class.
