We had some exciting news and special delivery that came yesterday afternoon. We want to thank Cindy for bringing our special babies you are a Rockstar! Also a huge shout out to Cheryle & Wyl from Old Mountain Farms for giving us an unexpected call just a few weeks ago and for trusting our herd. Never expected just how beautiful and very dedicated they put into their herd.We want to welcome these sweet babies to our Hoosier Herd and hope nothing but the best to come with them!
Our sweet, sassy golden doe named Old Mountain Farms Orla Rye AKA "Riley". Is making it well known that shes got to be handled while eating her bottle.🤣 She is just simply beautiful and also mischievous getting into things. We are excited to see her mature and get into the show ring later this spring. Shes a daughter to Old Mountain Farms Teff and Old Mountain Farms Skinny Chic. Our sweet girls name Orla is golden princess/ lady similar to her dams name and Rye is a grain referring to her sire side. Now having her on the farm this names quietly fits her nicely!
We also received a stunning, dairy buckling Old Mountain Farm Nobody's Fool. Since coming to the farm he's seeking attention and always happy to see us especially the bottles! We originally were waiting for his dam Old Mountain Farms Bold Ersa to kid and didnt expect Cheryle to tell us that he was available. I feel very blessed to receive him and very excited to see his success run through my herd! He's the son of Old Mountain Farm Teff and Old Mountain Farms Bold Ersa. We are thrilled his name refers to one of our favorite artist Cinderella and he was also born on April Fools Day.
