Dreaming Tree Farmstead We are taking a break as we relocate. Stay tuned for future updates as we settle and re-establish in East TN!

We are a small farm located in Shelbyville, TN that is dedicated to raising quality poultry for the homestead or breed enthusiast. We are currently breeding Narragansett Turkeys, Buff Orpingtons, Black Copper Marans, Welsummers, and Cream Legbars. We are members of the APA (American Poultry Association) and are NPIP certified. We are also busy raising non-GMO/soy-free pastured broiler chickens and

egg layers. We believe in eating local and sourcing humanely raised food. We are proud to provide people with quality protein sources that they can feel good about. Work has officially begun on our new property! We are starting completely from the ground up on this bare piece of land and it will be a very long project, but we are thrilled to be able to (eventually) call this gorgeous place home. I have been planning, drawing, and dreaming for quite some time now. I don’t know how we got so lucky to get such a flat property with gorgeous soil. ❤️ We are LOVING East TN and feel right at home in the mountains. The national park will be right in our backyard, and we are currently located in the Cherokee National Forest which has been incredible for exploring and hiking.

4 Hatching Time roll out nest boxes. Used one season. Power washed in the fall but got dusty again while stored. Save yourself money and frustration by NOT having to assemble these new from the box! 😂 They can be hung, but I used them on the ground.

I have the sweetest pair of buttons. A couple weeks ago I did some rearranging and put these two together. They instantly took to each other and spend all of their time close to each other. The male (the silver) also makes sure that her eggs are protected and sits in their little nest area. 🥰

The next generation of pansies! In a few weeks we’ll already have some extras to process and it feels good. Seriously, quail are amazing! I strongly believe they are an underrated species to keep. Small footprint, fast growing (and laying), minimal mess, easy processing. Start right with quality lines and you’re ready to rock and roll.
